Scenario
Between COVID and the recent death of a family member, I started to wonder if I needed to have some measures in place in case something happens to me. I wanted to make sure my family and I were covered, but I didn’t really know what I needed. I asked a friend of mine and he said that his mom had Life Insurance and when she passed away and he couldn’t believe how helpful it was to have that money. His mom lived in Vancouver, so he used that money to help him, and his family travel for the funeral and stay to get her estate in order.
Result
Because of what my friend went through, I decided to purchase Life Insurance so my loved ones have financial support. My employer doesn’t offer much Life Insurance, so I ended up purchasing the basic coverage through my employer and getting additional coverage through insurance on my own.
