Private sector measures

Canada’s largest banks have made a joint commitment to help customers manage challenges during these difficult times. Different forms of relief are available such as expanded credit access, and mortgage and other payment deferrals.

Customers are being asked to reach out to their banks to see what assistance is available. Due to the large volume of customer inquiries, delays are to be expected.
