We have made the decision to temporarily suspend sales of our Manulife Bank Credit Cards so we can focus on refining our current offerings and exploring new opportunities to better meet the needs of our clients.

Yes, if you or your clients currently have a Manulife Bank credit card, it will remain active. You can continue using it as usual, and all benefits and services tied to your card will remain unchanged.

All new credit card applications will be decisioned by December 31st ,2024. Any applications missing information may be declined. Please ensure applicants complete all the necessary fields.

The last day to submit a new credit card application is December 16th, 2024.

We recognize that the Manulife One fee waiver was an attractive feature of the ManulifeMONEY+ Visa* Infinite Card. Please stay tuned for details about a new fee waiver promotion coming soon. All existing fee waivers will continue to be honored for new credit card applications approved by December 31st, 2024.

Cardholders can close their credit card account at any time by contacting our Credit Card Services department at 1-844-323-7053.  Please note, they should ensure that any outstanding balances are paid in full before closing their account.

No, all accumulated rewards and benefits on their current credit card will remain in place as long as the account remains open and in good standing. 

Clients can continue to manage their existing credit card account online, via our mobile baking app, or by contacting customer service for any account-related inquiries.

This decision will not affect the cardholder's credit score. However, changes to their account (such as closing their credit card account or missing their minimum monthly payments) could have a negative impact. Your clients must maintain timely monthly payments to avoid any potential negative effects to their credit score. 

While we are temporarily not accepting new applications for Manulife Bank credit cards starting December 16th, 2024, we still provide a range of financial services. This includes savings accounts, loans, investment products and residential mortgages. Feel free to explore these options with us!

Yes, you will continue to receive your annual fee waiver/discount (whichever applies) as long as you are an active Manulife broker.
