Shoppers Drug Mart to join our Specialty Drug Care program

We’re enhancing our industry-leading Specialty Drug Care (SDC) program through a new collaboration with Shoppers Drug Mart, aimed at helping Canadians better manage their health. This collaboration allows us to expand the number of drugs within our specialty drug care program to more closely align with our full line of drugs that require prior authorization. The expansion will provide sponsors and members access to even more savings.

On November 1st, members who are prescribed a specialty drug may be directed to fill their prescription at Shoppers Drug Mart (or other Loblaws pharmacies). Legacy SDC members will not be affected. All SDC members will receive the highest quality care our program is known for.
